🔹 Join Us for a Participatory VR/AR Workshop in Metaxourgeio! 🔹
We’re excited to announce that Karl Heinz Jeron's proposal has been selected from our Call for Artists, and we will implement it as an interactive, hands-on workshop!
📅 Drop-in Sessions: 📍 Thursdays, 18:00-20:00 on ➡ 27/03, 03/04, 10/04, 01/05, and 08/05 📍 Location: Communitism, Katerinis 10, Votanikos
What will we do? You'll create your own VR/AR object and place it in an abandoned cultural heritage building in Metaxourgeio! Bring an idea, a photo, an object, or even a story – or just come and create on the spot! Your object can be: 🏛 Something connected to the history of Metaxourgeio 👻 An imaginative creature inhabiting the space 🕰 A vision of a future occupant of a forgotten building 💡 Or anything that helps us reimagine new uses for these spaces!
No experience with art or technology is needed!
At the end of the project, we will place posters with QR codes on the buildings, allowing anyone to discover the VR/AR objects by scanning with their phones! We’ll also organize a guided walk to introduce the public to the artworks.
🎓 Who can join? We especially welcome: 🏗 Students of architecture, urban design, and cultural heritage 🌆 Residents of Metaxourgeio (of any age 15+) 🎨 Anyone curious to experiment with us and their mobile phones!
