Aural Landmarks transforms the sonic identity of places into music by converting environmental recordings into algorithmically generated scores. Performed at the original locations, the compositions reveal the hidden musical structures of everyday soundscapes and encourage a deeper awareness of how we listen to our surroundings.
The scenography combines paper sculptures and SciFi texts.
